India secured an unassailable 3-0 series lead over New Zealand with a six-wicket victory in the third T20 match, chasing down a 199-run target in just 13.2 overs.
Opener Abhishek Sharma struck a 35-ball century, his fourth in T20 internationals, after reaching his half-century in 15 deliveries. Alongside Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who scored 45 off 19 balls, the pair amassed a world-record 118 runs in the powerplay during an opening stand of 133 off 43 balls. Following brief dismissals of Shreyas Iyer and Sanju Samson, Tilak Varma and Naman Dhir steered India across the line.
